A Further Advancement in Masonic Knowledge for the Companions of Rutlish Chapter



The Installation Convocation of Rutlish Chapter was held at the Sutton Masonic Hall in March. Present were E.Comp. Colin Jones, PAGSoj, Past Third Provincial Grand Principal, and E.Comp. Chris Eley, PGStB, Past Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals, both honorary members of the Chapter.

A Further Advancement in Masonic Knowledge for the Companions of Rutlish Chapter

After the Chapter was opened the MEZ, E.Comp. Tony Oaklands welcomed the visitors and took the minutes. The Principals of the Chapter were then inducted by the their Excellencies. E.Comp. Andy Gibbs, as MEZ; E.Comp. John Engall as H; and E.Comp. Martin Parrott, PPGStB as J. The three Principals’ Robes and Sceptres were presented by E.Comp. Chris Eley.

The MEZ then invited E.Comp. Chris Eley to delivered an Oration entitled ‘Why Bother with the Ritual’, which was well received.

Afterwards, the Companions of Rutlish Chapter and their guests sat down to a most convivial festive board at the Sutton Masonic Hall.
